Very happy with our stay on this campsite very clean facilities ,I wish we had looked at the menu on site earlier it was very reasonable , fresh bread available to order every morning ,we visited Blau beuren which is good .
Good transit site. The area used for motorhomes is some way from the showers, which lie away down a hill, but a small, modern toilet/washing facility has been provided for overnighters. Campsite has a restaurant (not used). Recommended.
Used as a stopover and close to motorway. 500m from small village. Staff very welcoming. New toilet block alongside touring pitches, very new and immaculate. Shower block is a short stroll alongside pool.
We stopped here for 1 night en route to Austria in our motor home. The reception and our camping pitch was very good as was the toilet block close by. We arrived mid afternoon and it was a lovely hot day and we were looking forward to a swim as this was one of the reasons we chose the site. However, the pool was not open and was full of dark green stagnant water and the surrounding patio was full of weeds which was very disappointing as the pool features in their advert. The wifi was also really poor, we couldn't log on in our van which was close to reception. This was a problem as we wanted to plan our next part of the journey. The last site we stayed on in Germany was immaculate with a large heated pool and brilliant wifi and was the same price so we felt a little cheated. Shame as if the pool was open as advertised and the wifi worked it would have been great.
We stopped in for one night on our from Munich to Frankfurt. The site was only a couple km from the highway, so it was a convenient stop for us. We read great reviews about the site, however due to the rain, the pitching area for tourists was really muddy. The bathrooms near us, however, were very clean. We did not use the showers or any other facilities. We also did not get a chance to walk around due to the rain.
We had a pizza at the Italian restaurant and thought it was good! Prices were very reasonable. The wifi, however, while wifi only works at reception which was a little disappointing when trapped in our motorhome from the rain.
On our way to Italy having rested here for a few days we did absolutely enjoy this quiet and peaceful camping embedded in beautifull sourroundings.
We had previously reserved a plot for our large caravan and were delighted about the care the owner family has been handling our request with. The plot had a solid electricity connection, and tab water is drinkable all over the place.
Extra services available such as a choice of rolls which can be ordered for breakfast made us feeling in the mornings just totally in holidays.
Many thanks to the owners for looking after us this way; we will most certainly be back for another stop-over on our way home...
We emailed prior to arriving here as we have a large twin axle caravan. On arrival we found they had reserved one of their largest pitches for us. A nice welcome from the owner.Showers required tokens but we were allocated one per day each. Pool was not open, as details said it would be we questioned the owner, he said it would be another 2 weeks but it looked like it would need more than 2 weeks work to bring it up to an acceptable standard. Good walking paths in the area and we intend to stop off here again on our return journey. Free Wifi intermittant.
Well placed between Stuttgart and Ulm, just 2 km from A8 motorway, high in the Swabian Jura. The large site is mostly permanent statics, with a small area for tourers. The small toilet/shower block in the touring area was closed, with the water turned off. This meant a long walk to the main facilities building, which has good heated showers, laundry, kitchen, etc. Too far to carry a chemical WC cassette!
The English-speaking reception was very friendly and the restaurant was open, though we didn't try it.
Free WiFi worked well and the ACSI Card price had no hidden extras. A very good halt on the way to/from Bavaria and Austria.
Wonderful setting, spacious pitches, friendly staff and a superb area to visit, very hilly and picturesque. Pool out of use during our visit.
Main shower block can be a good walk from individual pitches.
We arrived quite late in the evening at this site but even so we were made very welcome by the owner. When we woke the following morning we saw just what a lovely site this is and were disappointed that we could not have stayed longer, The showers and loos are immaculate and the whole site is very well tended.
