Nice spacious sites, hard walk up hill when returning from very nice town

Small site, very quiet & off the beaten track. The pitches were mostly level, gravelled & average size. There was a lake near reception that was used for swimming. There was no shop & the restaurant was closed during our stay. There was a small sitting room with books for guests to use. The sanitary facilities were OK but not enough to go round the campers. There wasn't a lot of information around the site & anything posted up was in German. There was a good dog walk along a track through woods around the perimeter. The washing machine did a very thorough job but took 2hrs 28 mins per load. It took us 5 hours to wash two loads.

A lovely quiet site out of season with a pleasant swimming lake. The restaurant on site is excellent as are those in the town. Visits to Bodensee and Munich by train are recommended.

Pretty site, very good sanitation facilities, with free hairspray...nice touch for the ladies! Attractive village with supermarket in easy walking or cycling distance. No debit or credit card accepted on site except Maestro, and same with the Norma supermarket. Described as a lakeside site, although there are no pitches actually on the lake which is open to the public, however the camp site toilets are only available to campers, who are given a key at the beginning of the stay. Take note of the extra charges,for rubbish removal and tourist tax but no restrictions on electricity used. the wifi, however, sounds expensive at first glance but the allowance can be used for up to three months, be sure to log off wifi after each use. This was useful for us as we like to listen to the radio on the net in the mornings! Pitches not really marked and spaces therefore have some flexibility, water available on each section of the site, pretty and well arranged. Soap, toilet paper and hand drier. Easy walk into the attractive town and supermarket. Pleasant short walk around the lake and marked walks and cycle routes from the site.

Lovely quite site in lovely surroundings, staff very friendly, happy to speak English. Plenty of opportunities for walking with way marked walks in the forest. Town of Isny was about a twenty minute walk, well worth a visit. Would definitely visit again.

Very picturesque site with excellent walking opportunities. As with all sites we have been to in Germany so far, your pitch is pre-selected for you. Our one was near toilet block which suited us fine. Facilities clean and free showers (push button type) but good. Only two showers in each block (men/women) but never had to wait but went either early morning or late evening! Popular with families enjoying swimming in the lake and sunbathing on grass surrounding lake. Owners courteous and very helpful. Beautiful area and many lovely villages/towns to visit. One word of caution - we were there mid Aug and decided to visit Bodensee one day, big mistake! Took us 4 hours to travel 50 miles due to volume of traffic and after that couldn't find anywhere to park (Meersburg). Managed to visit smaller town nearby but suggest either going very early in morning or forget it at this time of year. Wifi 10 Euros for 24hrs - this was adequate for us, tells you number of hours left each time you log off.
