Travelling party: Couple

We found this campsite very disingenuous in that they said they accepted dogs but on arrival we found that the choice of pitches for dog owners was severely restricted; we were banned from most of the campsite and we could not make use of the beach area or the beach bar facilities in the company of our four legged friend. To add insult to injury we had to pay extra euros a night for the dog.
We found the campsite fees high for the time of year and had to pay extra for a 3 minute shower. As an aside we had not been informed during registration that a token was needed for the shower so on the first morning were disappointed and dry in the shower cubicle! So all in all we found it poor value for money and would not return or recommend.
On the positive side it is on a good location with easy access to the bus and ferry and good walking and cycle routes.

Travelling party: Seniors

Tried to contact a number of campsites around Lake Constance by email to make a reservation and this was 1 of only 2 campsites that replied. Stayed for 8 nights with our motorhome. Although the campsite was extremely busy the pitch allocated to us was a good size. Toilet/shower facilities spotless. Excellent position on the shore of Lake Constance. It's a 15 minute walk to boat station in Dinglesdorf where you could catch the boat to take you to the other side of the lake and also Mainau Island and Konstanz from where you could change boats to travel to the southern end of the lake. Only 5 minutes walk to bus which went to Konstanz (travel time 35 minutes) via Mainau Island. All travel on the local buses is free to campers. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the region.

Travelling party: Seniors

This site was an excellent find. We needed a site where we could camp but also leave our car for a period while we went camping with our bikes. There was no problem with doing this at only a small charge for leaving the car. The receptionist was very helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. The facilities were very good and clean and good to find a site that caters for small tent campers by providing hot plates for cooking and an undercover seating area for rainy days.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

We spent our holiday touring Germany using a total of 6 campsites.
As for this one - what a great campsite. It is less touristy over this side of the Lake, but a lot prettier and quieter with beautiful views. Sadly we stayed far too long on the North side, but wish we'd spent longer here!
On arrival we were given a map and allowed to choose our spot. Cars are only allowed on the site whilst unloading and the campsite is excellently designed with lots of cul-de-sacs, making it very safe. One set of facilities bang in the middle, but close to all and what fantastic facilities. Great shower, washing up and I loved the children's shower room with small showers hanging from a giant mushroom and Mickey mouse taps.

As you exit the campsite (by foot) you enter the lakeside area. Fantastic views with beach area, playground, small cafe (bread roll service). Great for relaxing, visiting Konstance and walking. Very highly recommended for families.
