On the banks of Lake Hammersee, in Bavaria, Germany, is Camping Weichselbrunn. This is an ideal campsite for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. The area is characterised by beautiful nature with lakes and forests. The nearest village, Bodenwöhr, is less than a kilometre's walk from the campsite. Here you will find several restaurants, a baker, a butcher and a supermarket.

Camping shop with regional products

Camping Weichselbrunn consists of two sections separated by a street. Some of the pitches are right by the beach. You camp on grass on spacious pitches. Some of the pitches are rented for short stays, but there are also annual pitches. The campsite shop offers various basic items and a wide range of regional products. Order fresh rolls for breakfast here daily.

Campsite for those seeking tranquillity

The well-kept, green campsite is a lovely place for campers who love peace and quiet. No activities are organised, but there is certainly plenty to do. The campsite is located on the shores of a lake with a sunbathing area, where you can relax with a good book. And you can go swimming, canoeing or supping here. The area also lends itself to endless walks and bike rides through the forest and along many lakes.

Visit Regensburg

The city of Regensburg (43.5 km) is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. Stroll through the narrow streets with colourful facades, visit the impressive Regensburg Cathedral and admire the historic villas.
