Travelling party: Couple

The Site has some pitches close to the bar restaurant (this gets very busy at weekends from locals out for walks in the beautiful countryside).
It also has some old permanent sites in tracks above and behind the reception. It has a large open field/plateau called the Alm which has its own toilet block and is almost like a separate campsite. This is just superb. The only downside was open to an access road but this was a local track and hardly used by anyone. Setting and views were very good, very quiet and new toilet block very well designed.

Our plan was to camp here for two days but we stayed for 6. The Camp has a very "homey" atmosphere and the family operating it is very helpful whether it be the Camp itself or what to do or see in the surrounding areas. The dishwashing, laundry and toilet facilities are very clean - plus the showers are included in the price. Bad Pyrmont, a short bicycle ride away, reminded us a little of Baden Baden and we spent several evenings there after eating dinner at our Campsite. We can't comment on Lower Saxony as a whole but the area within a 50Km radius surrounding our Camp is very bicycle friendly.
We highly recommend this Park.
