Pleasant site, though pitches rather small. Good walks nearby. Not within range of public transport if you want to visit Hanover, you have to drive to get to the starting point, which is ok if you are towing, but less good for those with motorhomes,
Stayed overnight as a convenient stop for the lovely city of Hannover. Reception was friendly enough and we parked our motorhome in a large unmarked field right next to a scenic lake. A lot of permanent caravans on this site but many were covered in mould - not that pretty!. Glad to say that the toilet block was quite good - warm and private and no longer as bad as previous reviews have mentioned.
Awful campsite with poor facilities. Much road noise. Intended staying 10 nights but only stayed 1. Avoid. Much better site at Irensee. Surprised it remains in ACSI
