Campsite Bären-Camp is located in a bend of the Moselle river. Here, you have views of steep hillsides covered with vineyards. The grounds are situated right next to the town of Bullay. You will find eating establishments and a supermarket within walking distance. From your lazy camping chair, you can watch the excursion boats and river boats slowly pass by. Along the Moselle river lie countless historical towns with age-old timbered houses. You won't have to look far to find a good glass of wine in this region...
Terrace with river views
The elongated campsite grounds are well-tended. The pitches are divided among five different camping fields which are connected with each other. The reception is housed in a small wooden cabin on wheels situated at the front of the campsite. Here, you will also find a small shop and a restaurant with a lovely large outdoor terrace, where you can dine with views of the river.
Swimming in the Moselle river
The camping pitches are numbered and are practically unmarked. The size varies from 70 to 100m2. There are only a few trees on the grounds so most of the camping pitches are situated in the full sun. A PodHouse is also available to rent at the campsite, which is a small wooden house for two people where you can camp in style. A cycling path separates the campsite from the Moselle river. You can swim in the river here. It is also possible to launch your own boat.
Dated but tidy
The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but are neat and tidy. There are two shower blocks: one in the front and one halfway down on the campsite grounds.

A wonderful venue directly on the bank of the river. A short walk to the village and ferry to Alf. Convenient for exploring the middle Mosel.
A pleasant site on the shores of the Mosel. Staff and restaurant very helpful. Convenient location for exploring the middle Mosel by car, bike or train.
A large site over 4 fields separated by garden, site 2 is really quite small and was OK for us in a tent but when busy caravans seemed close packed. Everything costs, showers, ice packs and it was the most expensive site we used before extras. Swimming in the mosel was good. Staff efficient rather than friendly. Town was OK, small supermarket and good food and drink (wine).
Need electronic token to get into toilets etc Not enough toilets etc for the size of the site. Outside Acsi showers €1 for 5 mins. Staff not particularly friendly. Extra cost for site at riverside although there is a road between site and river, so not really any different. Extortianate wifi.

As a couple of seniors we use this site located along side the Mosel . We take our cycles and are able to cycle either side of the Mosel.Looking at river traffic and vineyards in the area. The site ha a very good restaurant. There is a small camp shop. With a close by supermarket. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to assist. This was our second visit we have found the site to be clean ,the shower blocks and toilet blocks are cleaned thoroughly .We will go again to this site and would recommend it.
This is a very well run site along the side of The Mosel. It has an excellent restaurant and a small shop. Toilets and showers are very clean. A good Supermarket within 8oo yards. Lots of cycle routes and good views.
Facilities very good but always closed for cleaning at lunchtime for 2 and a half hours! You cannot arrive between 12 and 14.30 either. Just the cycle track separates the campsite from the Mosel river and you have to drive along it to get to the entrance. A useful little ferry runs to the village of Alf on the other side of the river, increasing your options for eating and drinking out as well as giving you more hiking opportunities on the many marked trails in the hills around.
