The friendly camping site Schenk is located in the town of Wehlen, close to the picturesque town of Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding steep slopes with vineyards. The Moselle cycle route runs in front of the camping site. The camping site, therefore, provides an ideal opportunity to explore this beautiful area on foot or by bicycle.

Camping in a wine barrel
The tourist pitches on this friendly camping site are distributed over several elongated fields. The sizes of the camping pitches vary from 60 to 100 m2. Some pitches are in full sun, others are partly in the shade. On one of the fields are three cosy pods (wooden barrels), each with their own terrace. The terrain slopes down gently towards the Moselle. The Moselle cycle path runs along the river and in front of the camping site.
Unique wine tasting
The camping site has a small but nice swimming pool (50 m2), where you can cool down on hot days. The reception has a number of brochures of the area. You can also borrow books and games from the reception. In the mornings there is a lovely fragrance of freshly baked rolls, which can be bought on order. Owner and former wine farmer Heiner Schenk organises a wine tasting each Tuesday and shares his knowledge with you.
