Prachtig meer om te zwemmen en te kayakken. Mooie plekken en prima sanitair. Plek om terug te komen.

A busy site as you would expect with Kiel, Hamburg and Hannover not that far away. Lovely situation and quiet. Toilets are very poorly designed, rules are to take shoes off but mats are dirty and wet so most put them back on which makes problem worse. They need cleaning more often and when busy almost constantly. The on-site restaurant is very good. Ratzenburg was a real disappointment. The Pick your own farm next door does great tea and cake.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Very relaxed camping site, not too large, on the edge of a beautiful lake. Ratzberg is well worth a visit and we really loved Wismar.
Only downside is a bit of background road noise, but essentially this is a rural and quiet site and much recommended.

Excellent terraced campsite with views over the lake, own beach, good Resturant/snack bar that does all three meals with beer in between, friendly English speaking owner, electricity to all pitches, black and grey water dumping area, local town within cycling distance.
