This is a simple yet exceptionally well-kept campsite, situated in hilly surroundings. It is the ideal location for people looking for quiet and nature enthusiasts who enjoy camping in a clean and green environment.

Well-kept grounds

At the reception, which is housed in a grey-blue building with a red slate roof, you will find plenty of tourist information about things to see and do in the area. Here, you will camp at a neat and quiet campsite, well-maintained and with plenty of greenery.

Spacious pitches with little shade

There is not much shade on the grounds; most of the shrubs are relatively low. The grass is in excellent condition. To keep the grass green, campers are discouraged from using groundsheets under the tents and awnings. There are two fun cabins with an arched awning available for rent.

Guaranteed quiet

Peace and quiet are very important at this campsite. During the quiet hours, this campsite actually ensures that the grounds remain quiet.

Simple and tasty

The restaurant offers simple yet tasty meals for a good price. A slice of home-made cake with your cup of coffee is certainly worth a try. There is a daily bread service available in the peak season. The sanitary facilities are ample, modern and exceptionally neat and clean. This environmentally friendly campsite has a separated waste collection program, completely in keeping with modern practice.

Nature, villages and towns

You can take a trip, for example, to Rothenburg ob der Tauer, approximately 20 kilometres away. The campsite is situated in the Romantic Road (Romantische Straße) region. You can go for beautiful hikes and cycling trips in this largely rural environment.

Liked - It had been raining so we upgraded to a cabin which was not a problem, site is clean and the staff very friendly. Nice walks to be had and Rothenburg is only half hour away.
