Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad op Campingplatz im Grünen. De eigenaar, Marco Elze, is attent en ontspannen en deze sfeer hangt ook op de camping (\'locker\' in het Duits). Iedereen gaf elkaar de ruimte en was hartelijk naar elkaar. Het toiletgebouw en de afwasplaats zijn echt netjes; de douche wat eenvoudig. Wij hebben de camping als uitvalsbasis voor een culturele vakantie gebruikt (Weimar en Erfurt zijn erg de moeite waard, net als de vele slotten en tuinen in de omgeving; voormalig concentratiekamp Buchenwald maakt veel indruk), veel andere gasten gebruikten het juist voor een sportieve vakantie (mountainbiken).

Kleine camping met redelijk sanitair. Prima als doorreiscamping richting Polen/Noord Tsjechië. In omgeving veel wandelpaden. Weinig horeca in de directe omgeving.

Rustige, mooi in de natuur gelegen camping, centraal gelegen voor bezoeken aan Erfurt, Weimar en Jena. Fietsroute langs rivier de Ilm loopt langs de camping. Goed (vernieuwd) sanitair, vriendelijke en gastvrije (nieuwe) beheerder/eigenaar. Gezellig restaurant met terras.
