Camping Hellas ligt op het schiereiland Pilion, aan de oostkant van het Griekse vasteland. Volos is de grote stad bij het begin van het schiereiland, gelegen op zo’n 17 km van de camping. De Pilion is een bergachtig gebied met hoge toppen waar in de winter zelfs geskied wordt. Ook liggen er vele baaien en stranden. Hier geniet je van de omgeving! Gemarkeerde wandelpaden leiden je over de kalderimi (oude ezelpaadjes) naar de bergdorpjes in de buurt met hun bijzondere architectuur. En ook op wandelafstand (ruim 1 km) ligt het toeristische Káto Gatzéa met zijn vele terrasjes, taverna’s en winkeltjes. Maar ook een luierdagje aan het eigen strand van de camping is genieten! Je kunt in de rustige zee heerlijk zwemmen, of dobberen in een bootje op het diepblauwe water.

Great place to stay, open all year, right on the beach, sanitaries first class, staff and owner very friendly. (Just like most Greek people) One of the best camp stays in our 3 month tour of Greece.

Incredibly beautiful, clean, well organized place in an olive grove. Very nice hosts who are always available. The cleanliness in the service rooms is at a very high level. Small beach, very beautiful sea. Small shop, restaurant and bar in the campsite. Various places, compatible for diferent type and size campers, tents or caravans. Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely be back.
