What a nice place! We came here in our campervan reluctantly, because previous reviews had been so poor and our first choice campsite was unexpectedly closed. Contrary to expectations, we had a fulsome welcome from the very charming grand-daughter of the family (excellent spoken English) and, later, an equally friendly interaction with her mother and grandmother. So glad we came! Quiet and green. Only a 3km walk to the centre of the lovely old-town, or a quicker no. 2 bus ride. Alternatively, download the excellent Bolt taxi app. It works just as well here as in Budapest.

Great camping. Family owned and kept extremely clean. The owner cannot communicate very well except in Hungarian or by showing how she wants the camping to be used. Great welcome. Clean toilets, showers and sinks. Location ideal for buses into town and shopping for food (Lidl next door). Very quiet campsite in a green area. Hard standing. Highly recommended.

Very well placed and very quiet family run camping site among trees near a Lidl and close to bus stops leading to the beautiful town of Pécs. The owners only seem to speak Hungarian so the lady in charge resorts to sign language to ensure you keep to her rules to keep the camping clean. As a result, the toilets and facilities are spotless. I would highly recommend this camping site. They only accept cash.

Very unfriendly woman running site without charm or attention to guest needs. Evasive on prices. Info given on site stated cooking facilities - none available. Poor value for money

Pros - ideal location for visiting the World Heritage Sites in the lovely city of Pecs. Right behind a Lidl. Very near a frequent bus service into the city. Cons - the longest and most officious registration in 10 years of motorhoming. Motor home sits on a small concrete pad. We had to move in the morning to allow room for another Motor home to leave. On returning back to the site and sitting outside our motorhome after 5pm and when there were only 2 motorhomes and one tent on the site they started to strim the grass immediately next to our van. As the strimmings were landing on our van I asked them to stop and offered to move (again). This offer was refused so we left the site!
