Travelling party: Seniors
The site is in a lovely location by two sandy, very sheltered beaches. The facilities are good, the showers excellent; everything is very clean.
Ideal location for swimming, walking and cycling.

We arrived here to camp in our tent, but had problems finding where the tent area was. At first it looks gorgeous, right by the beaches, but turned out the tent pitches were right at the back of the site, in a field not kept well, with uneven ground, rocks, and piles of mowed grass everywhere. Clearly the private mobile homes take priority there having best spots nearer the facilities and views of the beach. We had to pay a lot for being in this field which did not seem particularly suitable for tents. Having come from a lovely campsite in Doolin, Nagles, it was a bit of a shock. The best thing was the showers were hot and powerful, but toliets and shower cubicles in need of updating and cleaning. Fine for mobile homes, not so for tents.
