Detail information about this campsite

M. Harmsen-Kunnen "Large and busy campsite during the high season, part of Corkagh Park. The park also includes a multifunctional sports field, possibilities for fishing and a children's farm. Large pitches surrounded by bushes. Bus to Dublin stops just outside the campsite. Traffic on the motorway is noticeable."

A nice site with a friendly warden. Showers charge money to use and could be updated. Some constant noise from traffic on motorway but you get used to it. Nice large pitches with electric, water and drainage. Very quiet on site during October. Only site we found to visit Dublin

This site advertises free Wi-Fi but the service is very erratic in fact most of the time non existent. The open top bus advertised as stopping at the campsite is a myth, the open top bus only acts as a feeder service to the city centre, the inflated price for the tour is really not worth the money. We used the Dublin Bus which runs regular from out side the gate which is an excellent service with excellent free Wi-Fi.
There is a better choice of tours when you get to O'Connell Street if you so wish.
Toilet maintenance is very sparse in fact the toilet blocks are a bit dated and dirty. Sanitary maintenance was very poor. We were also very disappointed in the Guinness experience, a very expensive pint at the end. The rest of Dublin was fantastic.
