Superb sea views and hardstandings - but no free wi-fi.
The welcome at reception was excellent and informative and the site offers an assortment of hard, but not all level, pitches with EHUs, most or all of them with wonderful views. In early May we had a good choice of pitches and we knew that the cafe and shop were closed. The site facilities were good and we enjoyed a quiet night by the sea.
This campsite is set in a stunning location. The views out to sea are spectacular. The pitches are really large and mostly flat, despite spme being dramatically located between the rocks. The sanitary block is good. There\'s a well stocked shop and restaurant. We booked a boat trip from the campsite, the boat collected us from the campsite jetty
This was a fantastic trip- to be recommended. The campsite has a small playground.
A lovely site located on the waters edge, with the pitches tucked in amongst the bays, rocks and bushes.
A very good (for West Ireland) shop on site which also serves the local community. There is also a small cafe which serves meals throughout the day.
This evaluation has been obtained by our inspector from a questionnaire at the camp site.
This is one of the most beautiful campsites in ireland. The setting is absolutely spectacular and the layou of the site itself is really good, lots of very private spots overlooking the sea. During June July & August the shop and cafe are open, both really well stocked with fresh local produce & all the essentials. The staff are very welcoming & helpful. All in allits well worth a visit & I cant recommend it highly enough !
