You have to drive over some narrow (yet passable) roads, but it is worth it. Camping Dimore Montane at Roccamorice in the Abruzzo region is a gem for those who want a quiet holiday out in the countryside. This campsite is in the middle of the wooded Maiella National Park, in a beautiful part of Italy that has not yet been discovered by mass tourism. You breathe clean mountain air and the only sounds you hear are relaxing forest sounds.
