Just outside the ancient town of Aquileia is the campsite of the same name. From this well-maintained campsite, you can walk right into history. In fact, right next to the campground are archaeological digs. At the campsite you will find, above all, an abundance of peace and quiet. The spacious pitches under the tall trees are lovely spots. So there's no need to search around for shade. Are you looking for a way to cool off? Then take a dip in the pool: the perfect place for a few laps.

Lovely campside very close to an amazing cathedral. There was a pool but not yet opened because we where there just before the season started. We don\'t have children or doing much sport so i can\'t judge that. If you would like to eat at the restaurant you have to make an early reservation. Unfortunately there where many bugs coming from those trees and they travelled with us for 3 more days before we finally got them all... :(
