If you are real camper in a tent go elsewhere as you will hate this place, the five “tent” pitches are basically hardcore camper van standings so unless you have industrial tent pegs and a sledgehammer you will not pitch your tent with ease. The campsite has a restaurant/pub which is mainly for the locals who love to socialise very loudly from 8pm until midnight which isn’t great for you being as your pitch is next to the entrance road / makeshift car park. The locals have no knowledge of the word respect at all so if you want a quiet campsite avoid this place like the plague. Once you are in you are in as the campsite barrier is down and to exit you have to go hunting for the site owner which isn’t the best if you like me have a free will etc. No loo roll in the toilets either which is ridiculous considering he’s charging you to sleep in what is basically a noisy restaurant car park. Will I be back? NOT IN THIS LIFETIME I CAN ASSURE YOU.
