Camping Fusina

Paikka valikoitui sijainnin takia! Lähellä Venetsiaa ja helpon saavutettavuuden takia. Halusimme saapua Venetsiaan vesikuljetuksella tästä leirintäalueelta tämä oli mahdollista. Camping alueelle sisään kirjautuminen oli helppoa ja nopeaa, kiitos ACSI-kortin. Telttapaikka löytyi kohdasta, jossa oli väljää ja josta oli lyhyt matka huoltorakennukseen,uima-altaalle, kauppaan ja ravintolaan. Alueeln oli kauppasa oli ihan riittävä valikoima tuotteita. Kaupan vieressä oli ravintola, joka oli hyvä! Ainoa pieni ”haitta” oli, jos täytyy sanoa, niin oli lentokentältä nousevat ja laskeutuvat lentokoneet aiheutti etenkin yöllä hieman häiriö ääniä. Muuten kokemus oli hyvä ja uskallan suositella kohdetta.

What a great location, on the waterfront with direct access to tourist Venice itself by direct water ferry to Zettere. However, there are negatives too, firstly, whilst a great waterfront position, it is quite isolated in the industrial part of mainland Venice. Also, whilst we had paid extra for a shore-side pitch, and ours was indeed very good, quite a few were deeply rutted mud pitches, and for many (not ours), the access the EHU is by means of running your cable across the vehicular path, so not ideal for a cable and risk of damage. I also wouldn’t have been so keen on some of the other pitches further back under the trees. The sanitary facilities were very good indeed, showers were powerful and hot and kept very clean. Good shop on site and a bar and restaurant too.

Arrived here after a long drive and were turned away because we didn’t have a Covid test certificate and with no advice as to where we could obtain one. Fusina do you not think it would be sensible to offer your clients a test on site which could be charged for. We have stayed here many times and delight in the services offered but do not think we will in future, turning away weary travellers is not conducive to camping etiquette !! Please try harder
