Camping Colleverde Siena is uniquely situated in the heart of Tuscany, in a suburb in the northern part of Siena. Campers stay here to explore this very special city (at 2.5 km from the campsite). Other pearls in the region, such as San Gimignano or Firenze are also easy to reach.

The campsite is actually excellent, but it's overpriced for what it offers. It's in an exceptional location, the staff are very friendly and helpful — they’ll guide you on how to use public transport, where to go cycling, where to find a mailbox, and so on. There’s also plenty of shade throughout the campsite. A reasonable price for the pre-season would be between €25 and €35.
he access road to the lower part of the campsite is suitable only for very skilled drivers. The bathrooms, although cleaned regularly, are very outdated. Water sprays from all taps at full pressure, which can be especially challenging when washing dishes. The showers don't have regular shower heads — instead, a pipe sticks out of the wall and sprays water at maximum pressure. Doors, latches, faucets, and other sanitary equipment are all old and worn. As I mentioned earlier — overall it's OK, but the price is absolutely too high considering the worn-out appearance.

Good site within 15 minute cycle on the roads to the delightful Medieval Town of Siena. cycling within is not encouraged but you can leave them close by to the pedestrian areas. The site is on tiers but are good size. Toilet and shower facilities are very good. wifi not reliable away from the reception area. Pool not open when we visited as too early in year. Recommended for visit to Siena.
