If you prefer to spend your holidays on an amazing South European beach, the Italian campsite Camping Lido Tellina is an ideal holiday destination. The shady camping site of this friendly family campsite is located right on a sandy beach that goes on for miles. It is also a good home base for, for example, surfing, rafting or kayaking. Camping Lido Tellina is just outside the village of Manfredonia in the Italian region of Apulia. You will be camping here near the beautiful peninsula Gargano, known for its natural beauty and authentic towns.

Choose your own site at this shady camping site

This campsite is situated beautifully, with numerous eucalyptus trees, weeping willows and ancient pines that provide plenty of shade. These trees also define the tourist pitches to some extent. If you visit this campsite without making arrangements beforehand, you can choose your pitch yourself. In addition to booking a pitch, at Lido Tellina you can also rent a caravan. Do keep in mind that these rental caravans are old.

Swimming in the sea

From the camping site you need only cross a car park to get to the beach. This wide sandy beach, which goes on for miles, has more than enough room to enjoy life on the beach in peace and quiet. There are parasols and chaise longues for rent. It is also perfect that the seabed has a very gentle slope. In the high season, fun activities on the beach are organised regularly for children and adults.
