used as a stopover site. good pitches good facilities but feels gloomy under so many trees in dull weather..not the sites fault! if you want a swimming beach this looks fine. if you want a beautiful panorama from your pitch it\'s not for you. Pleasant and friendly staff

Stayed for 4 nights in early Oct, not long before due to close. very nice site, good facilities although not much left operating whilst we were there. But a very good beach-side cafe/bar/restaurant which was delightful. We had paid extra for larger touring pitch with its own private toilet/shower-room. Very nice in principle, but the brand new and attractive shower-room did not have any extractor, in fact it had no ventilation, so stayed constantly damp inside, by the 4th day it was saturated. don’t think it will be fit for purpose for long. the adjacent personal wash-up sink was no use as the water didn’t get up to temperature and there was no drainer or shelf for items, just a large sink. we actually washed up at the main wash-up area. the website also said we had dedicated fresh and waste water connections. but there was no tap suitable for connecting a hose to and there was no grey waste drain. so miss-sold. Kverall it was good, but under the trees, the majority of other pitches, were just mud, which luckily was dry whilst we were there.
