Flaminio Village Camping & Bungalow Park ****

General information
Guide price €46.50

Flaminio Village Camping & Bungalow park is a four-star camping site in the north of Rome, which more than deserves its stars. The camping site is magnificently situated, very charming and features a beautiful swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. In short: the perfect city camping site with de luxe facilities. The pitches are small and things can sometimes get crowded, but after all, you've come here to see Rome! You can get to the city by bus (bus stop in front of the entrance) or by bicycle (for rent at the camping site).

Your own camping caravan/tent or luxury bungalow?

There are 260 touring pitches on the camping site. The many trees offer plenty of shade on the numbered or open pitches. Not all pitches are equally nicely situated; some can also be a bit on the cramped side. People preferring lots of privacy will then do best to stay in a rental accommodation. Choose from 130 beautifully situated bungalows. These feature amenities such as bath, heat and A/C, TV, a kitchen, a veranda, loungers and a grill. And a breakfast buffet is included in the price!

Fantastic dining, drinking and swimming

You can enjoy fantastic dining in the large restaurant. There are also lots of tables outside, under colourful parasols. The small camp shop offers a limited assortment but sells fresh bread daily.

At the end of the camping site is the swimming pool with a chic vibe. All around the pool, there are sunbeds with large parasols where you can let yourself drift away. The camping site has an excellent sanitary facility that is spacious and colourfully tiled. It's even decorated with plants! You hear classical music playing all day long – very relaxing.

Travelling party: Couple

This site is good to visit Rome. It is an easy walk to the urban train station and only cost 1.50 euro for 100mins travel once you validate ticket. This is ample time to get train into city and then one or two metro rides to wherever you want to go.
Facilities are very good, washing machines & dryers available. Bar and restaurant on site. Info site lady very helpful and sells the tickets for travelling. Pitches vary in size but shared and peaceful at night. there is a shutter buggy from toilets area to site entrance and a 24 hour supermarket between the site and the train station.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Only stayed 1night on a tour but apart from it being busy this site is perfect for Rome. Clean toilets friendly staff and friendly campers. Would stay again if visiting Rome in a motorhome.

Absolutely loved this site. Stayed six nights. Great access to Rome with Roma Pass. Restaurant good, toilets clean but not maintained very well. Classical music played in toilet/ shower area, lovely to hear. Plenty of shade. Those pitches quite small and close. Would definitely come again.

An excellent campsite when visiting Rome. All the facilities you expect and use are there and are great. Easy transport in to Rome with tickets for all transport available on site. Toilets/showers are superb and the pool is nice. Supermarket across the road is excellent and on the way back from the local train station, important for that nice bottle of wine or few beers you will need after a great day in Rome.
