A very basic site. No hot water for pot washing. Very grubby surroundings. Railway track adjacent to the pitches with trains running at about 10minute intervals. Very annoying. They have a policy of NO DOGS but allow them as long as they are kept in the van. Town a long walk away. Would not recommend or stay here again.
When they say the railway is nearby they mean it. Lovely warm welcome and although we had two small dogs and the acsi book said no, at the end of the year she was kind and let us in. So we were glad of the stop for the night. But not peaceful. BUT do get out your bike and cycle left out the campsite in to the village. It made up for it!
Nothing remotely like info in ACSI book more like a derelict waste ground not a place to linger. Suggest inspector of this site needs a break and retraining. Worst site we have visited in 30 years plus of camping.
We were expecting far more having looked at their website. Should have looked at ACSI reviews. This is a one nighter only but avoid if you can. Toilets mainly shut and in ladies only four Turkish Style available and one \"normal\". No hot water for washing up which from a hygiene point of view I find unacceptable. Had hoped to stay here for a few days and explore Genoa but we will move on tomorrow. Staff helpful and provided free wifi - maybe this was their olive branch. EHU only 3 amp so no hairdryer use on van and no alternative in toilets. Mrs not happy. I think an inspector should call.......before 2015 book published.
Near the camp site is a train rail that makes a lot of noise.
We really don\\\'t like the toilet, was uncomfortable.
Sorry but was the worst camp site that we pass through.
Used this campsite for a 1 night stopover. Whilst the staff were friendly & helpful, the touring vans were packed very close together in what seemed a haphazard fashion. Unfortunately the site is next to the railway & has the motorway viaduct above it so noise was an issue.
Small campsite, mainly statics with a few places inside the prison-like gates for tourers. Squeezed between the railway and the main road, with the motorway viaduct above, it's very noisy. And no sight of the sea, which lies over the railway line and is accessed via a tunnel. Where were the photos in the ACSI Card book taken? The 'beach' is a patch of black gravel. But the staff were very helpful and gave us a good hook-up. After complaining about the 4-minute cold shower, we were given a pass for a different (indoor, heated, clean) shower room with a 5-minute hot shower! But why not offer that from the start? And a young donkey roamed the site grazing on the grass (though dogs are not allowed!) But we were glad the site was open - the motorway viaduct was closed to caravans because of high winds and we had to exit at Arenzano.
Very poor quality pitches on a very limited site. There were lots of permanent pitches and mobile type vans with added annexes. Some problem with the toilets meant that most of the facilities were not usable. When we arrived we were given a pitch, then asked to move because they were trimming the trees. Getting onto the pitch itself was very very tight, as cars were parked around and about. Restaurant was not bad, but the 'beach was a joke' no sand just black gravel and pebbles. Glad we only stayed 1 night.
Worst camping site I have ever been on. Avoid it at all costs. Beach is just a gravel patch on the rocks.
Only stayed for one night. Pitches are incredible small and many of them haven't got even acces to the street. Probably one of the worst campsites I've ever been. You must to pay for the shower (coins).
Anyway, after a long road day, the bath in the black stoned beach made us feel like born again. At the end, we even found something "charming" and "special" in the site.
Only for one night, I could even come back.
