Fantastic

View 12 reviews

The Camping Röse campsite is located on the south side of Lake Maggiore, near the villages of Domelletto and Dormello. The campsite's private beach, which guests are allowed to use, is beautiful. Here you can camp under large trees, so you can always seek shelter from the Italian sun. The atmosphere at the campsite is friendly and the entertainment modest. Here you are located about a five-minute drive from Arona, a real attraction!

Small cramped plots and we found lots of broken glass on our plot on arrival. Lots of planes flying overhead. Pool is small with no functioning shower or footbath as you enter the pool. The cafe is well located and very friendly staff with limited menu. Toilets and showers clean and look fairly new.. ok for a place to stay for one to two nights. plenty of shade in hot weather.

The reception staff were curt & unsmiling. Showers are a huge problem in that you have to constantly zap a card every time the water stops (roughly 5 times per shower). We were told it was a private beach. However it was full of locals who just wandered in & used the sun beds.
