Close to Catania, on the rocky coast of the Ionian Sea, you will find the medium-sized terraced campsite Jonio. The campsite extends at the foot of Mount Etna. The centre of Catania is some 5 km from the campsite. The campsite is very popular because of the beautiful view of the sea and its tranquillity. The campsite is located near a quiet residential area.

can’t rate child friendliness, food and drink or sports facilities but what a cracking site, we have a great pitch, toilets showers and washing facilities are some of the best we have encountered this trip (campsite 8)
