stayed 3 nights using it as a base to visit Florence
bus is rather long 70 min journey and we went on a bank holiday weekend with a limited bus service.
pitches lovely and large with choices of sunny or shady
water hot for showers and washing
lovely swimming pool with great views
With acsi it a standard pitch . But would have liked to a see a standard pitch has we told we are too big.then to be take to the same place as all the rest because the pitch are too wet. May to leave not wanted. Not impressed
2nd visit to this site to visit Florence. Large site with good facilities. Swimming pool, shop and restaurant on site.
Liked - Really nice site, bus service to Florence very reliable and conenient
Disliked - The on site shop was disappointing especially considering the remote location of the site. Very limited selection of food stuff available when we visited in September.
Disliked - It wasn't a warm welcome at the reception. Not only when we arrived but also during our stay. Hostmanship was not in their vocabulary.
Example: I made a mistake in the date, in stead of 6 days I made a reservation for 7 days. It was impossible tot change that. Yes, off course we could leave earlier but because of the rules was a refund impossible ("I am only working here"). I can understand that for the renting of an accomodation, but not for a pitch. The minute we left our pitch was taken.
Liked - The very huge pitch we had
Disliked - The toiletbuilding was not realy OK. Not nice to have toilets just next to the washing units. Besides this the basics in this building ware pretty old. I would say this is the most urgent part of the camping what needs to be updated
Liked - very nice, not too big, camping

What a lovely site, came for a couple of days and stayed a week. Quiet except at weekends when locals use the lovely pool. Good location for Florence bus stop just outside about 50 minutes ride through good scenery. Shopping outlets not too far away if u have transport. Showers etc, excellent. Huge coop supermarket in Feline but need transport, small market on site. Access to site easy, can't find any faults and would recommend.
We were here in mid-October. The only section open was beside the motorway with constant traffic noise, the pool was closed and both the shop and bar might as well have been - if you wanted a drink at the bar you had to find someone first. The shop was grossly overpriced - somewhat aged tomatoes were being offered at 50 cents per tomato! Luckily there is a village shop 5 mins walk into Cellai. Forget Troghi - the walk is along a road with no pavements for most of the way and there is little there (I didn't try the butcher). This site is ideal for visiting Florence since the bus leaves from near the village shop - otherwise it is overpriced out of season. The restaurant has a restricted choice other than pizza since several dishes are for 2 people. The waitress insisted on speaking English despite our attempts to speak Italian (we live in Italy!) - and whilst she may believe she is gifted she merely come over as stroppy! On the first night I was offered gluten-free pasta by the waiter and asked for it again a few nights later. She was downright rude when telling me there was none - without having enquired in the kitchen. There wasn't so the only option left? A salad. In Tuscany...
