In the west of Italy, on the Tuscan hills, Camping hu Montescudaio Village is situated near the town of Cecina, a stone's throw from the ancient village of Montescudaio. You will be camping in the middle of a large Mediterranean oak forest with the Mediterranean Sea and a fine sandy beach only four kilometres away. Enjoy the swimming complex, then relax with a drink in the bar and finish off the evening with a show in the open-air theatre.

From caravan to bungalow

hu Montescudaio Village is a terraced campsite and has a sloping terrain with spacious marked out pitches. Because the campsite is in the middle of the forest, there is plenty of shade. If you don't feel like bringing your own tent or caravan, you can opt for a bungalow or mobile home. The rental accommodations have private sanitary facilities, comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen and a private terrace.

Water fun

There are two large family pools and a paddling pool with a colourful slide and water features. The two larger pools have a hydromassage area for relaxing under the Tuscan sun. For even more convenience while swimming and sunbathing, sunbeds and umbrellas are at your disposal free of charge. In addition, the sea is only four kilometres away.

Activities galore

The campsite has an entertainment team that organises a fun programme for young and old in July and August. There are theatre performances, sports tournaments and aerobics in the swimming pool. In high season there is also regular live music at the bar and you can enjoy musicals in the open-air theatre.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - En echte familiecamping, er is veel te doen voor de kleine kinderen. Speelplein, tafeltennis, zwembaden , minigolf, fietsverhuur. Ook veel activiteiten rond om het zwembad met muziek. Op sommige dagen is er ook live muziek tot ongeveer 23u. De sfeer was gemoedelijk, een zeer fijne 2 weken gehad.
Disliked - Oude sanitairgebouw is wel aan vervanging toe. Het sanitairgebouw bij het zwembad is recentelijk vernieuwd en wordt constant schoon gehouden

Liked - De ontvangst
Disliked - Toilet gebouwen zijn aan vervanging toe. Douche ruimte veel te klein en onvoldoende haakjes voor kleding en geen plankje voor shampoo en dergelijke

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Eenmalig deze camping. Restaurant echt zwaar onder de maat. Koud eten en pizza zonder smaak. Zwembaden veelste klein voor de hoeveelheid mensen. Regelmatig poep in het water. Receptie weet ervan maar doen helemaal niks.

Grote camping met ruime plekken. Voldoende privacy. Mooi zwembad. Eigenlijk alles prima. Toch 1 minpunt. Je bent hier v.w.b. WiFi en/of Mobiel internet niet goed af als je contact met het thuisfront wil onderhouden.

Ik vond het jammer dat het bij het zwembad erg druk was ondanks dat we in het voorseizoen zaten, blijkt het ook een openbaar zwembad te zijn. Verder vond ik de toiletgebouwen sterk achterhaalt. Veel spoelbakken liepen continu door. En ik vind ieder zijn eigen maar ik hoef niet de hele avond die vreselijk harde muziek, die je over de hele camping kon horen. De plekken waren super en ook de ligging.

Camping bezocht in het naseizoen. Camping plekken zijn mooi afgeschermd en hebben veel schaduw. Het zwembad is nieuw en erg mooi. Enige nadeel is dat in het weekend ook niet camping gasten gebruik mogen maken van het zwembad, daardoor wordt het erg druk. Het sanitair is verouderd en helaas ook niet erg schoon. Het restaurant is erg goed en gezellig.

Liked - Mooie camping we hadden een fijne plaats
Disliked - De muziek bij het restaurant. Je kom niet met elkaar praten. Echt irritant. De animatie voor de kinderen was veel te laat.
