Lovely campsite close to Assisi. Pitches are flat and extra large ones are available. The toilets and showers are clean if old fashioned. The restaurant next to the site is excellent and very good value for money. On arrival you are given a bracelet with a bar code so that you can charge food, drinks and trips on the minibus on to it and then pay one bill at the end of your stay. There is a well stocked mini market and bread can be ordered.
A very nice site with friendly helpful staff and shuttle bus to Assissi really helpful. Would be happy to return
A pleasant, professionally run site conveniently close to Assisi and with a shuttle bus to and from at a cost of €5 ea return.
Friendly, helpful staff, good restaurant, bar, minimal shop, good pool but costs €3 ea, plus hire a chair, plus must have a swim-cap.
Reasonable wifi which is free, and consistent.
Sites are flat and easy, but a little lacking in privacy, but still ok.
Bathroom facilities are quite good by Italian standards, but of course no paper, no nothing.
Would happily return.
Very useful campsite for visit to Assisi if you own a motorhome, as parking in Assisi is impossible or very far away. Campsite\\\'s minibus drives four times per day to the city at €2.50 for each journey, so €5 return. Last bus back at 18.30 but a taxi would be able to take you back at little more in cost. Staff at reception varied from moody (male) to very friendly (female). Information available in various languages about Umbria. Be aware: we arrived mid September and had not looked carefully enough at the Acsi tariffs: there was only a reduction for the first week in September! Although it was our own fault, we felt a bit cheated having to pay the full price. There is a special price for campingcars overnight, but there is no shade and no separate pitches. Surroundings difficult for going on foot, dangerous fast road and no pavement. Ok for stopover and visit to Assisi but would not stay again otherwise. Swimming pool closed despite hot weather.
Very friendly staff. We don't tend to use facilities on site so can't comment on toilets, pool, food etc. Very handy for Assisi and the shuttle bus an excellent idea for which we didn't mind the charge. The bus is quite small (8 seater) and some of the seats a bit difficult to get into for those less agile or overweight.
Tariff for internet was expensive compared with other sites, so did not use. Disappointed at charge to use pool, and here was mention of asking attendant about use of sunbed, so perhaps there was additional charge or that too. Some pitches were accesses by a steep kerb, so we avoided those.
Friendly staff and a site with some shade. Southern European standard of toilet block with collect your toilet paper at the end of the block before entering, but clean anyway. Shuttle to centre of Assisi handy at 8 € per journey. (a bit expensive but too far and dangerous to walk on the road)
Very disappointed on arrival (21 April) to find that high season rate applied from 20 April to 1 May, with no ACSI Card discount. The price per night was excessive and the Receptionist very abrupt when asked why. Public Holiday week, he said, but not on any other Italian campsites (and not on Assisi last year)!! WiFi cost another 6 euros per day and the pool, had it been open, was extra again. Convenient for visiting Assisi but so expensive. The pitches were not private, just in rows.
This for us rated as one of the best ACSI sites in terms of service. The pitches were ok, very full of pine needles but they were being cleaned to try and avoid this. The staff were excellent and the information supplied on arriving about the site and area was second to none we have been on before.
We dined in the restaurant which was packed, although watch out for the cover charge which is in tiny print on one page of the menu, but the pizzas were superb.
A fenced off area is provided for dogs to do their running around etc.
Surrounding it Perugia and Assisi were lovely, didn't use bus service as have a scooter, but did stay 3 nights and would return again.
Nicely situated just outside Assisi with a shuttle bus (a bit expensive). Good, though expensive, restaurant, nice bar. Great staff, particuarly Carlo and Lucio - hope they are still there, who were friendly, very helpful and amusing.
