Camping Le Palme is an extremely well maintained campsite with many amenities, situated on the south-eastern bank of Lake Garda (between the towns of Peschiera del Garda and Lazise). The terraced campsite is situated directly on the lake, a ten minute drive from the beautiful and lively fortress town of Peschiera.

Green and well maintained

The first thing one notices is that Le Palme is a green and extremely neatly laid out campsite: the palms to which it owes its name also feature prominently, of course. The welcome at this cheerful looking reception is friendly. You drive to your pitch over well-paved, wide pathways. The pitches are spacious and the lowest terraces offer a view of Lake Garda. Large numbers of trees offer ample shade. The rental accommodation (mobile homes, bungalows and one apartment) also look very attractive.

Lots of amenities

There are two swimming pools on the campsite, of which one with slides and hydro massage. Furthermore, Le Palme has a small fitness room and in high season there is an entertainment team to keep the children occupied. You can also go to the lake for entertainment. From the top terraces it is only a five minute walk. A gate -for which camping guests are given an access pass- gives access to the pebble beach.

Adjacent to the reception is a bar, often with live music in the weekends. The restaurant, with its comprehensive menu and friendly service, offers a beautiful view of the lake.

Sanitary facilities

The ablution blocks look very neat and clean. You can also book private sanitary facilities.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Prettige camping. Wij hadden een plek op de 1e 3 rijen, die redelijk grote plekken dicht bij het meer. Sanitair is daar prima en relatief nieuw.
2 Zwembaden en het meer geven genoeg mogelijkheid om te zwemmen.
Entertainment was top voor onze kinderen, net als het restaurant. Meerdere keren meerdere maaltijden, echt heel lekker.
Al met al een prima camping!

Travelling party: Seniors

Een prima camping met veel bomen tegen de zon. Plaatsen zijn voldoende voor caravan en voortent, maar om dan nog de auto te plaatsen is een punt. Waterkraan en afvoer op de plek, heerlijk! Zwembad is perfect met heeeeel veel ligstoelen, nooit te weinig, en een ‘luie’ trap met leuning, handig voor minder validen. Omgeving is mooi, veel leuke plaatsen dicht bij de camping. En veel eetgelegenheden vlak bij camping, waarbij Locanda Gallahus een aanrader is!

Het is gewoon een superleuke, kleinere camping. Ook nog eens erg toegankelijk voor rolstoelers en als het nog niet toegankelijk is maken ze het wel.

Travelling party: Seniors

Aankomst tot laat in avond mogelijk. Vriendelijke ontvangst, meerdere talen worden gesproken. Sanitair schoon, stevige straal bij douche en tot zeer heet, geen drukknopsysteem; zelf te bedienen. Heet water bij afwas.
Ruim zwembad. Geldautomaat op camping (geen extra kosten).
WiFi snel en stabiel. Plaatsen ruim voor Italiaanse begrippen.

Travelling party: Couple

Bij aankomst onpersoonlijk ontvangst, krappe stoffige plekjes. Op de foto staat uitzicht op meer maar dat zijn maar 3 plekjes de rest is volgebouwd met bungalows. Sanitair was prima. Een all inclusieve polsbandje om de camping aan het meer te kunnen verlaten. Nog nooit zo iets meegemaakt. Na 1 nacht gauw vertrokken.
