Camping Ettelbrück is situated on a hill next to a residential area, a 15-minute walk away from the vibrant town centre. An excellent starting point from which to explore the Luxembourg Ardennes!

The reception and other central facilities such as the sanitary facilities and the playground are located at the entrance of the campsite. You will immediately notice the beautiful view. There is a small restaurant at the reception with a large terrace, serving vegetarian and regional dishes. You can also buy fresh bread here in the mornings. The grounds are full of trees and bushes. The caravans and tents are situated on grass pitches. You will also find four safari tents on the grounds. There are two shower blocks, which include sanitary facilities for the disabled, a drying area and a baby room.

Fun for the children

The campsite is very popular with hikers and people looking for peace and quiet. Young families like to come here as well, because of facilities such as the playground.

Harvest what you need from the herb and vegetable garden

The campsite is convivial and welcoming. There is a communal herb and vegetable garden, and games are available on loan at the small library. A small-scale entertainment programme is also available for all ages, and you can take part in organised day trips. For shopping and groceries, you can visit Ettelbruck which is accessible either on foot or by bus (the bus stops in front of the campsite).

Liked - This is a lovely campsite and yes, I would visit it again. The washroom: toilets, sinks and shower are super clean and spruced up regularly. The site has a restaurant and is frequented by the local people. The walk to Ettelbruck station is around 20 minutes to take you into Luxembourg city and of course all public transport is free (and punctual).
Disliked - The campsite as others have said is on a steep hill. Not really a downside if you are like me and like to have a daily workout.
There are a couple of areas where the grass is not reinforced to take a Motorhome and I think the owners could make this clear to campers as in wet weather it is easy to get stuck in the mud -which I witnessed!

Liked - Camping Ettelbruck is situated in a countryside setting, but with regular buses or a reasonable walk to the town. It is uphill on the way back.
The staff team are friendly and helpful.
There is a cosy bar offering hot food and drinks; often busy with local residents so booking a table is advised.
Disliked - The sanitary blocks are clean, but very dated - with just one private wash cubicle.
The block was partially closed as we were late in the season, but there were enough facilities for all.
Good hot water in the showers.
Washing up is outside - again, a little dated.

Liked - Large flat pitches, quiet site, clean toilet blocks with plenty of showers and toilets. Helpful staff, great bar, we didn't eat in the restaurant but were very well looked after when we went up for a drink. I really liked this campsite.

Liked - Good positioning for stop over stay on route to ferry.
Some difficulty booking and paying on line - were able to pay in full on arrival without problem.
Disliked - Better ventilation in shower area - wash rooms adjacent to showers which meant water and steam from showers ran under and into wash rooms.
Better marking of pitches and policing. After we arrived we noticed several other campers arrive and struggle to find a suitable pitch with electric points spaced far apart.
Local area - Stopped off in town and noted several locals drinking and hanging around the main supermarket. Same men were there the next morning - felt quiet intimidating
After hours, noisy with loud music at 2-3 am. Not sure if from campsite or nearby estate

Liked - After a long day of driving we arrived at Camping Ettelbruck only to find we'd booked for the wrong date. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Beautiful location, great food in the restaurant, space for the children to play. 10/10 would recommend.
