Camping Meisterhof is a quiet, park-like campsite with very spacious pitches and excellent sanitary facilities. Furthermore, the grounds are beautifully situated on the outskirts of Dwingelderveld National Park. Campers who visit here are unanimously impressed by the care and attention that has been devoted to the layout of the grounds and by the stunning surroundings.
The pitches are all equally beautiful and well-tended in this park-like environment with mostly car-free fields. Everything has been laid out in an organised manner, and the pitches are very spacious and have their own utilities. The wide pathways and level grounds ensure that the pitches are easily accessible for everyone. Cabins and mobile homes are available for rent. It is also possible to rent pitches with a private bathroom.
People of all ages will feel right at home on this lovely and tranquil campsite. There are many opportunities for the children to play, including a petting zoo. There is a snack bar and a shop for the essential supplies (with daily fresh bread).
Excellent sanitary facilities
The luxurious sanitary facilities are of a high quality, with underfloor heating. As a campsite guest, you will be delighted with the quality of the clean and modern sanitary facilities. Consideration for the environment is apparent in, for example, the use of 'smart keys' for warm water, which helps to regulate energy use.
There is plenty to do and explore from the camping site, especially if you enjoy walking and cycling. The cycling network runs right behind the camping site. The pleasant town centre of Dwingeloo is a ten-minute drive away.
