Het is niet gek dat de ruimte het eerste is wat opvalt wanneer je door het bos camping De Ruimte op komt rijden. De eigenaren wisten wat ze deden toen ze hun camping een naam gaven. Deze mooie, rustige gezinscamping ligt in het oudste bos van Flevoland, een bosgebied dat voorheen van Staatsbosbeheer was. De ruime staanplaatsen liggen op open plekken in het bos. Of je nu kiest voor een beschutte plek aan de bosrand of een lichte staanplaats aan een groter veld: ’s ochtends word je gewekt door de vogels.
