Right on the water, in the centre of Sneek is De Domp: a campsite and marina all in one. This lush urban campsite has its own marina for transient docking, but offers permanent docking space as well. You can look out over the boats in the harbour from your camping pitch. This allows you to enjoy the best of three worlds: you'll be peacefully camping in nature, with the historic centre of Sneek within walking distance, and on the water with an open connection to the Sneekermeer (lake).

Camping by the water

The camping pitches here are on grass, but there are also paved pitches for campervans. The pitches are separated from each other by hedges and shrubs. There are pitches located directly on the water. However, you would be best served to book these in advance, especially during high season. If you bring your own boat, please be advised that you cannot reserve spaces in the transient marina.

In and around Sneek

De Domp campsite is within walking distance of the centre of Sneek. The historic city centre is known for its charming outdoor cafes and stylish shopping streets. Sneek is a great place to begin a cycling adventure, e.g. a ride around the Sneekermeer. Make sure that you stop in Joure along the way. The surrounding area is also a wonderful place to hike, with water practically everywhere around you, of course. If you do not have your own boat, but think that sailing would be fun, you can also ride the ferry in Sneek.

De Kajuit

After a day of sailing, cycling or hiking, pull up a chair at De Kajuit, the fantastic restaurant on the campsite with a terrace along the water. You can enjoy long and lively meal here, all while admiring the boats in the marina.

In september op de camperplaats gestaan, mooie plaats aan sfeervolle jachthaven.
Goede faciliteiten en leuke mogelijkheden om de hond uit te laten in de omgeving.
Het restaurant De Kajuit is een aanrader, heerlijk eten en leuk personeel.
Sneek is een leuke stad.
Wij betaalden voor 2 personen met hond een hoog tarief! met de ACSI kaart
Dus de tarieven op de website kloppen niet, dit is veruit de duurste ACSI plek die we in het voor en naseizoen hebben gehad, volgens mij is zonder kaart net zo duur?

Prachtige camping. Voor caravans niet al te grote plaatsen. Binnen 100m. van de aanlegsteigers met zeilboten. Prachtig. Campers staan naast de haven. Super.

Sehr nette, unkomplizierte Reservierung und Anmeldung. Der Platz sehr gepflegt und sauber. Vom Stellplatz auf die Marina mit den einlaufenden Booten zu sehen war schön was besonderes. Die Innenstadt von Sneek fussläufig gut zu erreichen, viele Geschäfte und Gastronomie,sehr schöner Ort. Besonders gefielen uns die gut ausgebauten Radwege und die vielen Seen und Kanäle. Unser erster Aufenthalt in den Niederlanden war super.

Fantastische plek. Ik stond hier met mijn camper terwijl ik een opleiding volgde in Sneek. Na lange dagen was het fijn \'thuiskomen\'. De camperplekken waren zeer ruim, schoon en lekker stil. Leuk uitzicht op de haven.

Fijne warme, schone douches en zeer schoon sanitair aanwezig.
Bij het inchecken erg warm ontvangen met uitleg over de faciliteiten en de omgeving. Ook bij het restaurant op \'het erf\' zeer vriendelijk en kundig personeel.

Een paar nachten bijboeken was geen probleem en erg goedkoop.
Ik kom hier graag nog eens terug!

De locatie is perfect je bent zo in het centrum, 10 min lopen. De plaatsen zijn ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. De uitvalbasis om fiets routes te volgen zijn ook prima
