Picture this: you zip open your tent in the morning and the first thing you see are ducks and swans swimming past right in front of you. At Capfun Groene Eiland, just outside of Appeltern in the Land van Maas en Waal, this scene is a daily reality. Many of the pitches at this charming family campsite are right next to the water. The campsite is located on a peninsula in De Gouden Ham, a recreational lake with plenty of water sports options and free access to the Maas river.
