The Camping Betuwestrand campsite is located in the village of Beesd in, you guessed it, the Betuwe region. The Betuwe region lies between the Waal river in the south and the Nederrijn and Lek rivers in the north. The area is traversed by the Linge river. The Betuwe landscape offers plenty of cycling and walking opportunities; for example, the campsite is located on the beautiful "Lingeroute". At the campsite itself, you can enjoy a recreational lake with a sandy beach, where you can swim, water ski or wakeboard, among other things.

Something for everyone

The pitches at the Camping Betuwestrand campsite are located on separate fields. The pitches are spacious and some are clearly defined. You can also choose from slightly larger comfort pitches and some pitches right on the water. There are also several rental accommodations at this campsite, including mobile homes, chalets and hiker's cabins. Dogs are allowed at several of the camping pitches and rental accommodations.

Endless water fun

At the Camping Betuwestrand campsite, the whole family can experience endless water fun. From swimming, sunbathing and building sandcastles to water skiing and wakeboarding on the water ski course. The recreational lake is no less than seven acres and has its own sandy beach. On the lake, you will also find a floating trampoline and water slides and diving boards.

Outdoor or indoor entertainment

In addition, the campsite offers an extensive recreational programme. The entertainment team organises all kinds of activities on and around the water. All ages are catered for, with a kids' club for the younger holidaymakers and a special teen programme for older children. In the covered square at the campsite, you will find trampolines and a playhouse for playing and crafting.

Liked - Strand en animatie is er gratis en leuk voor jonge kinderen als tieners
Disliked - Douches en warm water mochten voor de prijs van 100€/ nacht wel gratis zijn

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Tsja, daar viel het eigenlijk al stil.
Om dan toch iets positiefs te noemen, het sanitair was schoon.
Disliked - Het ging al fout bij de boeking. Wij hebben een hond en werden geplaatst op een locatie waar honden niet zijn toegestaan. Oorzaak was dat dit niet in het boekingsproces is gevraagd. Er was nog één plek waar de hond wel mocht. Dit bleek een achteraf plek die zeer nodig geëgaliseerd diende te worden. We waren bang om onze enkels te breken.
Tel daarbij op dat je met hond niet op een groot gedeelte van de camping mag komen zoals bij de horeca en het recreatiemeer. De horeca dicht is doordeweeks en om te douchen je munten nodig hebt.
Kortom niet een camping waar wij nogmaals zullen gaan staan.

Administratie verliep vlot. Ook over de receptie geen slecht woord. Wifi viel wat tegen maar dat kan tijdelijk geweest zijn.
De plaatsen zijn verzorgd en er is gedacht aan een scheiding tussen vaste kampeerders en plaatsen voor een kort verblijf.
Het strand is eerder beperkt maar toch toerijkend. We hadden een rustige vakantie maar ik weet niet hoe dit is tijdens het hoogseizoen. In het winkeltje kan je terecht voor de meest noodzakelijke dingen. Sanitair werkt met muntjes voor warm water. Leuk vonden we ook de waterskibaan op het recreatiemeertje

Travelling party: Seniors

3 maanden in voorseizoen gestaan en genoten van de rust op deze camping en direct weer voor 3 maanden in 2023 geboekt. Mooie plekken en vriendelijk personeel, ook een voordeel dat je plekken hebt waar geen honden mogen komen en plekken waar wel honden zijn toegestaan.
