Ardoer Camping De Heldense Bossen in Helden in Limburg has everything a child’s heart desires during a camping holiday: from swimming pools to an animal park, from a water playground to forest theatre. Stay in a special bungalow or on a comfortable pitch in a forested area. This family campsite can be found in the middle of the woods in the Limburg town of Helden. The campsite is easily accessed via the Napoleonsbaan, that leads you past quaint villages on the River Maas: the castle village of Baarlo and the lovely Kessel.
When you arrive at this campsite, on a wide road and between the high trees, you will be warmly welcomed by a large green figure with an acorn hat on its head: Het Bosmannetje (the forest man). You will come across this figure at various places on the campsite. The staff at the reception will also give you a friendly welcome and show you the way to your pitch. You will find three types of camping pitches on the vast green grounds: basic pitches, basic plus pitches and extra-large comfort pitches. Various types of accommodation are clustered together. The cute camping bungalows can be found next to a football field and the spacious mobile homes with their large verandas are set up in a circle by the water recreation area.
Real children’s campsite
De Heldense Bossen is a real children’s campsite. Everything is set up to give children the time of their lives. Also in Restaurant Op d’n Berg, where they have a separate children’s menu, and children are sometimes even allowed to help the chef prepare the food.
