It’s spacious, with generously sized pitches arranged around large fields, all of which are level and grassy. Facilities are plentiful and kept spotlessly clean. The onsite restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are always welcoming.Dalfsen, with its lively market, and Vilsteren are both within cycling distance, while children will enjoy a trip to the Wildlands Adventure Zoo. We stayed on this site for a few days in June on our way to tour north Germany in our motor-home. It was not very busy at the time, but it is a very spacious site, and I don't think that it would ever feel crowded. The pitches are well maintained and level, with fresh water points and electric hook-up. The site is in a very peaceful area, and has a relaxed feel about it. There is plenty of easy cycling on the doorstep.
We would recommend this site without hesitation.
PS - We did not have to consult the site staff very much, but on the few occasions that we did, they were always helpful and courteous.
Campervan visit. Very friendly welcome with fully serviced pitches spread around 3 large fields. Very quiet when we visited. Only 1 facilities block open as other was being renovated. ACSI programmed card gave us plenty of free hot water. Good very rural cycle network and even managed to summit the two hills south of Ommen with views of storks and red squirrels close by. Excellent high quality supermarket in Dalfsen, a pretty town. Free Wi-fi on pitch. Owner speaks excellent English and full of information about the locality.
