Excellent site. Well positioned for access to Delft. Friendly staff. We booked online & were able to choose our pitch but when we arrived the receptionist advised us it wasn\'t suitable and upgraded us to a comfort pitch with easier access. Clean facilities. Reasonably well stocked shop but closed early.
Excellent staff really helpful particularly the reception and bar staff. We rented bikes on two days and received a discount on the second day. The reception staff were always happy to help even when quite busy. The shop was great and not over priced and the daily fresh bread was an added bonus.
The site is located on the outskirts of the city so it is easy to walk or get public transport into the city centre. Some pitches are semi-permanently occupied. Pitches generally are in groups with hedges between the groups. Some tree shade if you are lucky - staff allocate your pitch for you. Very busy site even in low season. Staff are helpful and can book some tourist events - but they are hired staff so you don\'t get the personal touch. There is a decent shop on site. Toilets/showers were quite modern and kept reasonably clean, not excellent but good enough. There are also kitchen facilities. A negative is that the pitches and the site generally are quite compact with narrow access routes - this lead to damage to my caravan when staff sent me down the wrong access route! Overall a decent site.
Great location for visiting the town of Delft, there is even an electric shuttle that will transport you all day for 2 euros. Walking distance to an IKEA store. Only criticism is that wifi quota is limited and easily used up.
very lovely stay. facilities excellent and staff were fantastic. great location for the short walk into delft. must see town. we enjoyed our 2 day stop and highly recommend this site
Pitch size is a little more on the cozy side but room for what you need. Facilities are very clean and easily accessible.
Shower block has electricity sockets available for hairdrying or shaving etc. No need for purchasing tokens/paying to use showers or hot water, as is the case with some European campsites.
Easy walk into Delft and situated in nice surroundings too.
very difficult to find, badly signposted, seems route into site has been changed recently. Great location for town and getting about. Beautiful area with some nice walks. Showers were often cold and as they are on a time switch they were not ideal as it started cold, got warm and then cold again. Pitches were good, and everyone friendly. Shop on site was handy.
This was our third stay here in the last 2 years. This campsite is all about location. Walking distance into Delft, lovely walking and cycling direct from site with lots of wildlife. Staff are extremely good and shop well stocked with fresh bread daily. This site is about 200 meters from the motorway which hasn\'t been a problem in the passed, but we found the traffic noise quite intrusive this time.
A great site set in parkland with a lake and many excellent cycle routs. 10 to 15 min. walk from Delt center and convenient for the Hook ferry terminal about 45 mins away.
The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. The on site shop is well stocked and has fresh bread baked on the premises.
Friendly staff, helpful. 15/20 minute walk into Delft centre and local tram into The Hague. Did not use train into Rotterdam as too far to walk and cost of travel, used car via autoroute A13 into a P+R(Alexander) on outskirts of Rotterdam, then metro into city centre - 25 minutes, very good, comfortable service. Working out the metro ticketing options took a bit of time, but was good value when understood - 2x1 hour! 6 euros return
