Friendly welcome. Pleasant site. Good facilities - electric, water and waste at each pitch (and TV apparently). A handy stopover for the Zeebrugge ferry which is 22km away (though extensive roadworks complicate the picture at the moment).
Enjoyed our stay - though perplexed as to why there was a slot to pay a nominal sum for hot water at the washing up sinks? Showers very good though.
A very nice and well kept clean site, Run and owned by a young couple , who are very friendly and helpful. Weekly excursions too local sights are organised. Mostly used by the Dutch people themselves, witch has to be a good indication of standards , not far from the beach , and only a short distance from Belgium ( cheap tabaco , chocolates and fuel) lots of interesting places too visit ,or just chill out.
We will definitely come again
PS we stayed the whole month of June.
WHAT A GEM !
Owners very friendly and helpful, large level pitches, Electric, water and waste to every pitch, toilets are immaculate. This is a fantastic area for a long stay or just for the Zeebruugge ferry only 8mls away. we stayed 1 week, you are only 14mls from Brugge, 1 mile from the beach and another Village with plenty of restaurants and cafe's, all can be reached by a great cycle network. Sluis is a lovely town, and Knokke Heist is very chic and only approx 6 miles away. There is something for everyone, We will definitely return!!!!
This is one of the best campsites this I have stayed at. Very clean showers, big pitches, frendly staff.
