Erfurt geldt als een van de mooiste steden van Duitsland. Wie de historische binnenstad van Erfurt (Thüringen) wil bewonderen, heeft aan Campingpark Erfurt een uitstekende uitvalsbasis. Deze camping ligt namelijk op een rustig plekje op maar drie kilometer van het centrum, dat gelukkig goed bewaard is gebleven. Ideaal is ook dat er een bushalte pal naast de campingingang is. Je kunt het stadscentrum dus makkelijk met de bus bereiken. De camping zelf biedt vooral plekken voor kampeerders en camperaars. Het gaat hier om een nog nieuwe camping. Er zijn moderne voorzieningen en de campingleiding staat bekend als gastvrij en enthousiast.

Nice campsite with immaculate shower and toilet facilities. However, the price is absurd. The pitches are fine, however, when you have another camper or caravan next to you it becomes difficult for both to use your awning; there just isn’t enough space. Again, the costs to stay at this campsite are way over the top (especially for first week of April) compared to available facilities.
