Aan de fjordenkust in het noorden van Noorwegen ligt Elvelund Camping, een rustige camping die vooral bij visliefhebbers erg in trek is. Het langgerekte kampeerterrein ligt aan de monding van de rivier de Salangselva. Vanaf je kampeerplekje heb je een schitterend uitzicht over de rivier, de fjord en de omringende bergen. Even verderop ligt het dorpje Sjøvegan, waar je terecht kunt voor je boodschappen. Op de camping zelf is een eenvoudig, maar goed restaurant met lokale specialiteiten.
