Between the villages of Opheusden and Kesteren, centrally located in the Betuwe, lies Recreatiepark De Markplas. This playfully designed holiday park is surrounded by lush greenery, including several old fruit trees, characteristic of the Betuwe region. More than a third of the park consists of water, offering plenty of opportunities for swimming, boating, and fishing. Also good to know: this campsite observes the tradition of Sunday rest, meaning arrivals and departures are not possible on Sundays.
