Camping Kursaal

We stayed with a camper and 3 dogs. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating; the facilities were clean; and the campsite itself was lovely. When I went to reception for check-in, they offered to move us closer to the lake and the dog beach (which I found to be very considerate!). The restaurant is a bit pricey but tasty, and the bar was perfect for a cup of tea after a brief thunderstorm. Looking forward to our next stay!

For €50 an hour, the spa did not only disappoint- it was unsafe. It is literally a room with a small hot tub, a sauna, two lounge chairs, and a bathroom. The floor did not have a drain. As soon as we got into the hot tub, it began to overflow the sides and I noticed there were two electrical cables on the floor (plugged into the wall) that were in the water. I unplugged them, but there was also the problem that the floor became very slippery. The hour was more stressful than relaxing, absolutely not recommended.

The facilities were great. All you need when going camping plus the benefit of having swimming pool, bar and restaurant in the premises.
