Travelling party: Family with children, various ages
We stayed her for 2 nights primarily to go for a family cycle ride on one of the few flat areas of Portugal. Centrally located campsite in a holiday town. Very windy on the campsite bizarrely far windier than on the beach. Very good washing machine €3.50 and with that wind and sunny days a clothes dried quickly. Pretty inland and Atlantic beaches a short cycle away. Cycle paths a bit hit and miss start and stop randomly. Definitely flat though and had a good ride down to São Jacinto but had to battle the headwind back up the peninsular.

Travelling party: Couple
This is an urban site , it\'s in the middle of houses , and we did experience \'the locals\' revving up motor bikes and racing up and down just outside the camp on a couple of occassions. In saying that , it was just a bit irritating , nothing more. All the piches are flat , but beware , of some of the sandier ones. We witnessed a motorhome becoming embedded in a hole that just appeared and he had to be dug out ! The staff did this , no problems , but it cost the holiday maker a tip ! Stick to the hard standings or grass. We had a continual strong wind blowing off the sea during our 4 night stay , and i think it might be a very common occurrance , certainly this time of year.
The area is very interesting. Torreira is a nice fishing port , and you can see the locals going out and coming back into harbour with their catch every day. The interesting thing is their catch is seaweed , to be sold on as fertilizer! You can catch the ferry to Aveiro by taking a 20 to 30 minute bike ride alongside the lagoon to the little ferry port. Aveira is a lovely city with a fascinating old quarter and canals!
Toilets , showers and washing up areas were clean and the water was warm enough to be acceptable . Wifi was good , but only in the cafe area. We would stay there again if we were passing.

This is a lovely site, very helpful staff, facilities are clean. No hot water for washing up, but otherwise fine. The majority of pitches are open with no shade but in May it was not a problem. Very convenient location for Atlantic and the river/estuary. Lovely cycle routes around the area, nice and flat. 12 km to ferry to Aveiro

Travelling party: Seniors
The site is quite large but pitches look to be on the compact side , a third of it resembles a grey shanty town with the seasonal pitches occupying every last square centimetre of their plots. We have a large twin axle and opted to stop on hardstanding as site is sandy nearby mains water available but extension hosepipe required.
Toilet block is clean but lacks hot water in the winter. Cycling and walking very easy as it is very flat, 400 metres to the river and 800 to the Atlantic. Interesting stop for a few nights as lots to see and do.
