Reception was ‘cool’. English spoken. Staff obviously employed by National Park and people arriving to camp were a disturbance to their equilibrium. The site is very wooded and gloomy. Would provide plenty of shade if the sun was shining. The facilities are modern and classy. No paper in the toilets, or soap or hand-dryer, but it all looked gleaming. The water was much too hot with no way to control it.
We stayed 30th May to 3rd June 2018.
We stayed in June, not high season, site very quite. Staff very friendly and helpful, all spoke English. Facilities were spotless, almost new. Restaraunt meal was fantastic. Wasn\'t warm enough to use the outdoor pool, but it looked amazing! Reception gave us a leaflet with various walks which very good. The leaflet described the local and Roman history en route. There is also a local museum, well worth undertaking. Would recommend this campsite, and we will return.
This is a wonderful campsite set in a National Park in the mountains. The pitches are generally gravel with lots of shade and plenty of space to each pitch.
The reception and toilet blocks are new and modern and excellent. English is spoken but limited - although never a problem. Staff always very helpful. Wifi available near reception/restaurant.
Great walking up in the hills - the campsite is shaded though and has no views. Also a good central location to tour the area.
There is an excellent onsite bar and restaurant - well worth using - and really friendly and efficient service.
Overall and excellent and understated site.
