Wow! What a charming little site. Nothing amazing or spectacular just a well organised and well laid out camp site. A credit to its owners. For swimming pool.... think pond. It\'s possibly the smaller swimming pool I\'ve seen...ever. But none the less, ideal for taking a dip in when it\'s hot. There\'s a pleasant 8000 step walk (measured by my phone app) down to a lake through a cork plantation behind the site. The camp-site is right by the road, but it didn\'t stop me from getting a good nights sleep. The traffic noise wasn\'t intrusive. The Wifi is free and pretty fast. The nightly rate and the electricity is metered. And if you want to let your hair down there is a ping-pong table. Happy to recommend this site.

You will be assured of a very friendly welcome here from the lovely owner & his wife, pitches are lovely with nice views, facilities are kept very clean however not many for the size of site, some road noise during the night & day, nice little pool to cool off in

Fantastic site,,the owner seems to have asked himself what would be the perfect camp site and then he has created it, the toilets are immaculate with piped music. The pool is fantastic from r a small site. The pitches are large and level. Nothings no is too much trouble for the owner or his wife, they even delivered a take away to our caravan. Will be back

Well laid out campsite. Very clean. Toilets very clean with plenty of hot showers! Reception staff very helpful and informative when it came to the surrounding area! Swimming pool very clean too with sun beds. This is a campsite which we will certainly be returning to!

Great place to stay, not just a stop over. We’ve been here for 5 weeks so far this time and it will be a shame to leave. Ronnie the owner and good all round host is a great guy. We love it here and for any problem Ronnie will have a solution.

As with other reviews hard to fault this site except the road. Good sized pitches just a pity water is not extended to each pitch to fully utilise modern caravan facilities. Close to Extramoz Evora and Evoramonte so good for a few days. It is probably one of the best 2 or 3 sites we have visited in Portugal.

On first impression, the physical environment of the site is not promising: an exposed location right next to the road, with little shade for some of the pitches, and (at least when we were there) somewhat dominated by large caravans and motorhomes. But don't be put off: this place has a lot going for it. Much of that is down to the enthusiasm, energy and sense of humour of the Dutch guy who runs it. Nothing is too much trouble for him, whether it's helping you find a suitable pitch, sorting out a wifi connection problem, bringing pizza to your pitch or explaining how the washing machine works. He gives you a useful information sheet on arrival about a great many places to see in the local area. Facing away from the road, the outlook is across fields and cork plantations towards hills: a restful landscape. We didn't find the road at all intrusive at night. Many of the established pitches are large and screened by hedges. In most respects the facilities are good: newish, clean, toilet paper and soap provided, and external doors that close. The only problem was a shortage of hot water: morning showers were not really bearable, and it was barely hotter for washing up in the evening. The owner acknowledges that there is a problem with the hot water when the site is very busy and intends to sort it out. Assuming he does so, we’d be very happy to return and recommend the site to others.

Our second year here and just as good as the first, excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings, very good free Wi-Fi, large pitches and an owner on the ball to make sure his customers are happy. We'll be back.

Excellent site. Spotless showers and toilets. Well set out and very well managed by Simon who although busy, always had time to talk. Lovely setting and great 90 min round trip walk to local lake. Book swap in reception and "convivial" meetings at least once a week. 90 mins drive to Evora, 10 mins to Evora Monte and (our favourite) Estramoz 20 mins away (we visited 3 times) - Great price too - including electricity. We hope to return soon

This is our favourite site in Portugal, being about our sixth visit. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean and all necessaries (loo roll, soap etc) are provided. The pitches are large some sunny some shaded all with first class internet.
The owner is very hands on and will give any help he can and being Dutch seems to speak every visitors language fluently.
There is so much to see and do in this area it seems a shame that so many use this site as a one or two night stop-over on their rush to the south (or home).
Stay a week or two you will not regret it.
