Parque de Campismo Ria Formosa

Motorhome stay. Stayed end of June 2025 for 7 nights. Staff were very helpful and such nice people. Pool was excellent I believe it’s very new. Great pool bar that was very reasonably priced also. Lots of sunbeds to use. Close to cabanas and Tavira with the train station over the road to access all of algarve. Was also able to rent a fridge. Lots of charcoal bbq to use in designated area. Restaurant was excellent but be prepared for big portions Loved our stay. Would definitely return.

The warmth of their staff

pitches well marked out and gravel. small but you can take up more than one pitch if you pay. not much shade or privacy but as it was not busy when we stayed was not a problem. toilets were clean and showers had hot water. staff were very helpful their electrician even tried to help fix our tap for free. short walk to train station where we got train to tavira for 1.45 euro.

one of our favourite sites anywhere. excellent spotlessly clean facilities and plenty of hot water in showers and washing up. good on site restaurant and on site mini market is excellent. 10 min walk to railway station to everywhere on the Algarve and 20 mins down to the cabanas for bars and restaurants. Beautiful Tavira is a good bike ride across the salt flats or take the train. great winter rates of 2 pitches.

Extremely well organised. Good sized & level pitches. Staff very helpful. Excellent shower families & clean. Lovely area to explore from & the local development is all ‘low-rise’ so you don’t feel hemmed in.
