Very quiet park. It's located near the water with very good access for swimming or fishing. Clean facilities. Restaurant can supply fresh bread but only in some hours of the day. Restaurant is a quality restaurant but prices are above average for Portugal.

There is a distinct lack of information on this site when you arrive. Reception is in the restaurant which wasn't obvious. The site felt very unloved and neglected it was a place to park up rather than stay. The lake was lovely to swim in but there were speed boats around. The lady in the restaurant reception was lovely but clearly busy so checking in involved a lot of hanging around. Having just left a site that was welcoming and paid a lot of attention to detail this one was disappointing.

Another mixed feelings about this site. When we were there the restaurant was closed, the staff were helpful, however there was no map layout of the site or details of facilities etc. We had to ask where to find the toilet emptying facility and it was not clear whether ta couple of kayaks on site were for hire or not. The washing machine was also not advertised and to expansive, so we decided not to use it. On leaving we were charged above the rate of the ACSI book and when queried we were told the applicable dates in the book are wrong. (Also cash was requested). Despite all of this the site is in a very nice location with nice views over the lake.

Beatifully sited campsite overlooking lake. Terraced pitches, many under trees, the best at the top close to the modern, clean sanfacs. Lower pitches possibly difficult to access for larger vehicles. Very good restaurant, high quality food and a comprehensive wine list. Friendly, helpful, english speaking staff.

This is an excellent campsite - the neatest we found in Portugal. We camped on a upper terraced pitch with our 7m caravan. All pitches have lake views, some through trees, which is beautiful. There is easy access to the lake and to some pontoons for recreation (swimming/sunbathing). The toilets are very clean and freshly painted. Free washing machine which made our day.
Staff friendly and the restaurant which we didn't dine in on account of our 2 year old child, seemed lovely and I really wish we could have enjoyed a meal there, reviews of the restaurant are 5 star. There is a cafe a short walk up the road for a cheaper more casual option.

We enjoyed a meal cooked on the provided BBQ's at one of the picnic tables. It was the closest to real camping we have encountered in Europe, with plenty of the usual luxuries. Great spot, wish we could have stayed longer.

Nice views from the campsite/car park
Not possible to access beach without climbing gear no walks just mountain climbing

A very relaxing site, the views are amazing, the staff very friendly Anna did all she could to help with our trip to Tomar which is reachable by taxii as we have a 7.5 meter motor home or is an easy journey with a car or scooter. The facilities are lovely and clean with plenty of hot water. We ate in the restaurant one of the evenings and the food is first class, with local produce it made a pleasant change to the usual camp site bars. We were pitched with our friends on the larger plateau, they do have terraces in the trees that would be suitable for smaller motor homes or caravans, We will defiantly make a return visit when we go to Portugal again.

This camping left us with mixed feelings. The view over the lake is very nice, but this is only from the top platform which feels more like a parking. The other spots don't seem very accessible for large campervans or homes. There is access to the lake, but it's not too amazing. The bathroom facilities were good, and when lights did not work they were immediately repaired. Staff was very kind and helpful, but there was a sense that we really should be eating at their rather expensive restaurant - not for the usual camping budget. There was a lack of facilities for camperhomes, as we overheard that the toiletbox should be emptied in the normal toilets, which I don't think should be done. All by all, a strange place that tries to be a camping but is more a fancy restaurant with lake view.
